A parallel run is the period — usually 14–30 days — when source and destination analytics tools collect data simultaneously. It produces the diff data needed to validate the migration. The Parallel-Run Validator is built for this: drop two CSV exports and the tool flags rows whose deviation exceeds your threshold.
