Why a parallel run matters
Numbers never match across analytics platforms. Bot filtering differs (Plausible is stricter than GA4 — expect 15-30% fewer sessions), session definitions differ, and Google’s referrer stripping inflates direct traffic. The point of a parallel run is not equivalence — it’s understanding the deltas before you brief them to leadership.
What this tool does
Drop two CSV exports — one from your source platform, one from the destination. Each must have a date column and a numeric column (sessions, visits, pageviews — whatever you’re comparing). The validator parses both, joins on date, computes Δ and Δ%, and flags rows above your threshold (default 5%).

- 15% — first week of dual-tagging
- 30% — initial setup, expect to tune
